INVAR (42)
Has the lowest CTE between 20-300 degrees °C.
Also known as N 42, created in 1899 as a variation on INVAR 36 with around 41-42 % of nickel, whereas INVAR 42 has the lowest CTE between 20-300 °C. PHYNICX INVAR 42 is melted under vacuum in general. Applicable norm is ASTM F30.
